6 Moves That Bust Belly Fat
Posted on July 20 2018
Are you having trouble zipping up your favorite pair of jeans when only two months ago it fit like a dream? Looks like you've gained a bit of belly fat! There are many factors that lead to belly fat, the main culprits being a sedentary lifestyle, an unhealthy diet rich in sugar and processed foods, alcohol, and stress. Over here are six ways to bust that fat!
Walking is a moderate, low-impact activity that ups your heart rate and breathing. A 30-minute brisk walk can easily be incorporated into your lifestyle. Wear comfortable shoes to lower the impact on your joints.
Jogging will improve your metabolism and help you lose weight all over. If jogging at a stretch is difficult for you, try alternating between brisk walking and jogging. Just make sure that you invest in good running shoes to cushion the impact on your knees and joints.
Cycling is a great low-intensity exercise whose aerobic nature helps you burn fat. The best way to do it is to maintain a pace wherein you can carry on a conversation. Perform this three times a week for about two hours, and you'll see the kilos melt away.
4) Stomach vacuum
This is a breathing exercise that helps you tone your belly. The process involves breathing in and exhaling forcefully as you suck your belly button in toward your spine. If you like incorporating breathing exercises into your workout routine, this is the one for you!
Crunches improve core strength by working on the most considerable abdominal muscle, the rectus abdominis. Try to do twist crunches as well to target the internal and external obliques located on the sides of the waist too.
Planks help tone the core muscles, namely the transversus abdominis muscle. It'll help improve your posture as well as reduce lower back pain (the result of a bigger belly). Try doing two to three sets of 30 seconds each every day. Mix it up with the other exercises mentioned above to get a more thorough workout.
Along with the above tips, follow a nutritious diet, do some strength training and get enough sleep. And don’t forget to look cute by stocking up on the right running, walking and workout clothes too!
